A short story about CG

I have first hand experience at the way cities are losing great talented individuals either to retirement or a change to other opportunities. As these individuals leave, cities are losing talent and experience that only happens in the public sector.

More and more cities are having to get work completed either through staff augmentation or hiring private firms to complete these tasks. While this gets the job done, what jobs are not being completed because budget constraints.

Wouldnt it be great to hire somebody who knows how a city thinks and operates?

Wouldnt it be great to hire quality workers without paying for all the overhead that comes from the private side.

This is where CivGig is changing the model. How can cities hire other city workers to complete jobs at a competitive price.

Gig Life

The wage gap between the private and public side continues to grow. Typically this is the outcome of work life balance. Public sector tends to be a strict contract of set pay for a set amount of time. The private side tends to have a model where great work and an extended day can be rewarded.

How can this gap be closed by cities and workers? When Cities work together by posting jobs and workers from all over grab a gig.

CivGig is the solution for retired or city employees to work on tasks they do everyday but earn a little extra on the side.
